Crystal Ritual Guide

Lumiclay journalGentle rituals for crystal bracelets

You chose your crystals, and you have been wearing them for a while. But lately, do they feel a little heavy? Or maybe they seem to have lost some of their sparkle?

Do not worry. They are not broken. They may simply need a gentle energetic refresh.

Start here

Crystals are often thought of as little energy companions. They sit close to your skin, move through your day with you, and can pick up the feeling of stress, busy places, emotional moments, or simply everyday life.

Cleansing is like pressing reset. Charging is like filling the crystal back up. To keep your Lumiclay bracelet feeling clear and supportive, use gentle methods that protect both the stones and the jewelry construction.

Here are the 3 safest ways to care for your crystal jewelry

These methods are dry, simple, and kind to natural stone beads, elastic cord, and metal accents.

Method 1

Moonlight: a gentle reset

This is our favorite method because it is gentle, simple, and safe for most crystal jewelry.

Place your bracelet on a clean windowsill, tray, or bedside surface overnight, especially around the Full Moon. The soft lunar energy helps clear away heaviness and restore the stone's natural vibration.

If the moon is hidden by clouds, do not worry. The ritual still works beautifully when you set a clear intention.

Method 2

Smoke cleansing

When you need a fast reset after a heavy day, smoke cleansing is one of the easiest rituals to reach for.

Light sage, palo santo, or natural incense, then gently blow out the flame so the smoke rises. Pass your bracelet through the smoke for 20 to 30 seconds and imagine the smoke carrying away anything your crystal no longer needs to hold.

Keep the jewelry away from direct flame, ash, and heavy residue.

Method 3

Selenite: the crystal cleanser

Selenite is known as one of the crystals that does not need much cleansing itself. Many people use it to refresh other stones because its energy feels clear, bright, and steady.

Keep a selenite plate, bowl, or wand in your jewelry area. When you take your bracelet off at night, place it near the selenite and let it receive a small recharge while you sleep.

Selenite is delicate, so keep it dry and handle it gently.

A crucial warning about water and salt

  • The stones: Some crystals, including selenite, angelite, malachite, lapis lazuli, turquoise, and other soft or porous stones, can lose shine, weaken, or change texture in salt water.

  • The jewelry: Frequent soaking can weaken elastic cord and may affect plated or metal accents over time.

  • To help your bracelet last beautifully, we recommend staying with the dry methods above whenever possible.

When should I cleanse?

Trust your intuition. If your crystal feels dull, or if you've just been through a difficult emotional time, give it a cleanse. Treat your energy tools with love, and they will love you back.

Trust the feeling

It feels heavy

If your crystal feels dull, flat, or strangely heavy, that is a good sign it is ready for a cleanse.

After hard moments

You moved through stress

After a difficult conversation, emotional week, travel day, or crowded space, give your bracelet a little reset.

Before a new chapter
